He was predeceased by: his father Hugo Castillo; his brother Carlos Efren Castillo of Leon; and his grandparents, Efren and Laura Castillo. He is survived by: his mother Edelmira Hernandez; his wife Maria Castillo (Leon); his daughters, Isabella, Mikaela, Pauline and Jasmine Castillo; his stepson Raymond Delgado; his grandchildren, Naomi and Messai; his siblings, Anita, Chita, Roberto, Jorge, Hugo and Flor of Maria Castillo; and his siblings-in-law, Juan Carlos, Gina, Marlene, Anita and Holger Leon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
