He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean E. Hughes (Deiterich) and Leon W. Hughes; and his sister Patricia (Paul Ledford). He is survived by: his former wife Katherine Hughes (Sambucci); his nieces and nephews, Sheldis Hewish (Edward) and George C. Ford III (Sarah Watters) of Bristol; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Sambucci (Sharon) of Glassboro, Rita Green (Warren) of Westmont and Joann Sambucci of Mount Laurel; and his nieces and nephews, Laura Green (Ryan), Michael Sambucci (Sarah), Jonathan Sambucci (Liz), Matthew Sambucci (Nicole), Donna Green and Nick Sambucci.
