He was predeceased by: his mother Maryann Bauer (Dickinson); his daughter Mary E. Bauer; and his brother Charles Bauer. He is survived by: his father Joseph F. Bauer; his wife Norma Bauer (Furth); his children, Joseph W. Jr. (Kimberly) of Mt. Laurel, Jackie (Paul Kramer) of Stroudsburg and Catherine (Russell MacArthur) of Brick; his grandchildren, Jason Bauer (Jamie), Samantha (John Morris), Krissy (Kyle Moser), Brian Kramer, Russell, Douglass (Sarah), Daniel, Joseph MacArthur, Dean Parker and Casey Parker; and his sister-in-law Mary Bauer of Florence. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Koschek-Mancuso Funeral Home (1115 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clare's Calvary Cemetery (200-398 E 9th St, Florence, NJ 08518).
