He was predeceased by: his father Joseph A. Sr. Csik; and his brother-in-law John Stadvec. He is survived by: his mother Helen Ann Sabo Csik; his girlfriend Edith M. Reel; his siblings, Bernadette, Brian Bush and Barbara Stadvec; his grandchildren, Devon and Eli; his sons, Joseph A. III (Victoria Csik), Michael Csik (Christine) and Adam Grossman; his sister-in-law Eleanor Hetherington; and his pets, Izzy and Max. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces.
