With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivone Maria Fernandes Maia of Florence, New Jersey, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ivone Maria Fernandes is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ivone Maria Fernandes' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Jose Louis Fernandes. She is survived by: her husband Manuel Maia (Manny); her children, Brandon and Nichole Fernandes Maia; her grandson Luca Maia; her mother Maria Magdalena Fernandes (Pinto); and her sisters, Lisete M. Fernandes of Italy and Maria Helena Fernandes of Portugal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Koschek-Mancuso Funeral Home (1115 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
