He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Popso and Helen Popso (Wandishin); his brothers, Bernard Popso and Joseph Popso III; and his brother-in-law Henry Hewitt.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Popso (Christine), Theresa Popso-Hewitt and Raymond Popso (Debra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
