With solemn reverence, we commemorate Susie Ann Konya Emery (Flemington, New Jersey), whose life came to an end on February 11, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary Surmon Konya and Kalman Konya, Sr.; her parents, Mary Surman Konya and Kalman Konya, Sr.; and her pets, Mushy, Kibbles and Oreo.
She is survived by: her son Jason Michael (Lisa); her close friend Vida of Vida's Adult Tap; her husband Jerry Emery; her daughter Katie Emery (Dan Reed); her grandchildren, Sofia, Lincoln and Myles; her siblings, Rosie Turner (Jim Turner), Mary McManimon (Jim McManimon), Joey Konya (Donna Tabor) and Kalmon Konya Jr.; her pets, Duchess, Natasha and George; and also, Falkor and Gizmo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and best friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stanton Reformed Church (1 Stanton Mountain Rd, Lebanon, NJ 08885). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
It was Susie's wish that in lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes to honor her to please do so by making a donation to the Stanton Reformed Church in her honor and memory via mail t0 1 Stanton Mountain Road, Stanton, NJ 08885 or online by clicking HERE (http://stantonrc.org) or to Susie Ann's Stage for Youth (SASY Inc), which is a new registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit youth theater organization that honors Susie's love of the theater arts.
