He was predeceased by: his parents, George Olsen and Alice Squires Olsen; and his siblings, Alice Olsen French Laffey, George Olsen and Carolyn Olsen Laffey.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Espie Olsen; his daughters, Stephanie Olsen Klopfer and Elizabeth Olsen Takacs; his sons-in-law, Kevin Klopfer and Kristopher Takacs; his grandchildren, Ethan, Ella Klopfer, Esmé and Theo Takacs; and his pet Yoda. He is also survived by extended family, many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (38 NJ-31, Flemington, NJ 08822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM at the same location.
