He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Avery; his sons, Mark Avery (Asen) of Raritan, NJ and Brett Avery (Kate) of Turlock, CA; his grandchildren, Jessica Kilentula Avery, Ferne Arenla Avery and Thomas Edward Anthony Avery; and his sister Iris Ross of Queensland, Australia..
