He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Platt. He is survived by: his mother Sheila LeMurier; his children, James Walter Platt and Elizabeth Platt; his siblings, Gail, Sandy and Michael Platt; and his grandchild Aleksander Platt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
