Irvin E. Hockenbury Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irvin E. Hockenbury (Flemington, New Jersey), who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi D. Hockenbury and Myrtie Hockenbury (Parkes); and his brothers, Lester, Lloyd, Milton and Carl Hockenbury.
He is survived by: his wife Vilma Hockenbury (Henkel); his sons, Kurt Hockenbury (Lissette) and Bruce Hockenbury (Amber); his grandson Milo Hockenbury; and his sister Nancy Ringer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reaville Church (191 Old York Rd, Ringoes, NJ 08551). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Amwell Ridge Cemetery (12 Old York Rd, Ringoes, NJ 08551).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Hockenbury's memory may be made to the Reaville Church, 191 Old York Road, Ringoes, NJ 08551 or to the Mt. Airy 4-H Dairy Club, PO BOX 2900, Flemington, NJ 08822.
