He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gano and Edith Gano (Mattis); and his siblings, William, Frank, Arthur, Walter Gano, Lillian Worman, Jenny Crotsley, Ethel Alpaugh and Doris Hackman.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta D. Gano (Sipler) of Flemington, NJ; his son Harry; his daughter-in-law Kristi Gano of Flemington, NJ; and his grandchildren, Colin, Ryan Gano and Alyssa Gano. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home (147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (69 Capner St, Flemington, NJ 08822).
