She was predeceased by: her parents, Treffle LaPlante and Louise LaPlante (Groccia); and her siblings, Lorraine Sunderland and John LaPlante. She is survived by: her husband Robert DeVoto of Flemington, NJ; her children, Danielle Szierer (Mark) of Branchburg, NJ and Joshua DeVoto of New York, NY; her granddaughters, Jazley, Marli and Luciana Szierer; and her brother-in-law Bob Sunderland of Ashaway, RI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Flemington Assembly of God Church (434 US-202, Flemington, NJ 08822). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (69 Capner St, Flemington, NJ 08822).
