He is survived by : his wife Vidhya P. Patel; and his children, Devendra Patel of Flanders, NJ, Kalavati Patel of Parsippany, Mrudula Patel of Parsippany and Tarulata Patel of Whippany. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
