He was predeceased by: his wife Vera; his son John James; and his sister Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Teri Paterno (Joe), Fran Wydila (John), Andy Duffy and Thomas Duffy; his grandchildren, Sheree, Andrew, Veronica and Joe; and his great grandchild Ayden.
