With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iwanna Matkiwsky of Flanders, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Hluszewskyj and Anna Hluszewskyj (Boyko). She is survived by: her husband Walter Matkiwsky; her children, Daniel Matkiwsky (May), Peter Matkiwsky (Caitrin) and Roxanne Smith (Todd); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexa, Robert Matkiwsky, Allie, Ashley Smith, Darbie and Jack Matkiwsky; and her siblings, Bohdan Hluszewskyj and Oksana Oprysko.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 60 N Jefferson Road, Whippany.
