With solemn reverence, we commemorate Elio Nicolicchia of Flanders, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on February 15, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlo Nicolicchia and Marianna Nicolicchia; and his siblings, Edward, John, Joe, Anthony, Marian and Sarah.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Nicolicchia (Buffalino); his children, Ed Nicolicchia (Georgy Tamula), Thomas Nicolicchia (Joanne), Elaine Nicolicchia and Teresa Nicolicchia (Jean Feeney); his grandchildren, Dominick (Shannon), Thomas Elio (Kristin), Angelina (Joe) and Anthony (Molly); his great grandchildren, Gianna, Amelia, Tommy, Joseph, Matthew, Thomas and Andrew; and his sister Jenny Spano. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church (61 Main St, Flanders, NJ 07836). An entombment was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
