He was predeceased by : his parents, John Oldani and Maria Concetta Strzempa; his wife Patricia Oldani; his siblings, John Oldani, Josephine Donovan and Louise Michalchuk; his son Patric Oldani; and his pet Tara.

He is survived by : his son John; his daughter-in-law Rose Oldani of Bensalem, PA; his daughter Shari Gerace of Fieldsboro, NJ; and his sister Mary Kondash (Fred Scott). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mariano's name to the SPCA.
