He was predeceased by: his sibling Catarina Squillace. He is survived by: his wife Filomena Nicoletta; his children, Vincenzo Nicoletta (Anna), Dino Nicoletta (January), Ilario Nicoletta Jr. (Carolyn) and Marianna Gentile (Louis); his siblings, Thersea Raschella and Antonio Nicoletta; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Amanda, Ilario III, Ilario IV, Isabella, Louis, Dino and Lilianna.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's RC Church (1 Phalanx Rd, Colts Neck, NJ 07722). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marlboro Memorial Cemetery (361 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751).
