She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert; and her brothers, John, Stephen and Joseph Banas. She is survived by: her husband John D. Cyrus; her children, Dr. Cynthia Cyrus (Tom Dowling) of White Bluff, TN and Liesl (Anthony) of Woodbridge, VA; her grandchildren, Amelia Berle, Nathaniel Berle, Nissa Berle, Logan of Maine, Delenn of Maine and Elora of Maine; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bettes (Michael), Allison Bettes (Daniel), Veronica Banas, Lisa Siemanowicz, Joseph Banas and Robert Banas (Dana). She is also survived by nine grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (31 Asbury Rd, Farmingdale, NJ 07727). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
