Rita E. Ruskan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita E. Ruskan of Fanwood, New Jersey, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Ruskan of Bayonne, NJ. She is survived by: her sister Anna; her children, George Ruskan Jr. (Susan Ruskan), John Ruskan (Patti Ruskan), Steven Ruskan (Eileen Ruskan), Carol Ruskan-Maynard (Charles "Pete" Maynard) and Laura Ruskan-Matlaga (Joseph Matlaga); her sister Marie Johnson (Floyd Johnson); and her grandchildren, Hannah Mettler (Travis Mettler), Daniel Ruskan, Jake Ruskan, Marisa Ruskan, Scott Ruskan, Julie Ruskan, Ryan Matlaga, Sara Matlaga and Peter Maynard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church in Scotch Plains.
