It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Hugh Higgins (Fanwood, New Jersey), who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Higgins and Catherine Russell Calnick; and his siblings, Diana Calnick, Mavis Higgins Green and Pauley Higgins.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Higgins; his children, Neville Williams, Maxine James, Jacqueline Higgins and Audrey Higgins-Barnes; his children-in-law, Earle James, Sr., Lances Barnes and Verna Williams; his grandchildren, Oral James, Delroy Williams, Earle James Jr. (EJ), Jason James, DeVante Williams, Darin Barnes and Silina Dixon; his great grandchildren, Omari James, Isaiah Dixon and Mason Williams; and his siblings, Danny Calnick, Desmond Higgins, Newton Higgins, Lena Higgins, Lydia Higgins Davis and Eunice Higgins Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
