She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, August Engel and Mildred Engel; her husband William; her children, Lani, Dan (Lorenza), Marc, Patti (Keith), Tim (Novie), Mari (Tom), Ricardo, Ami (Danny), Brenda, Jon and Ken; her grandchildren, Kelly, Randy, Kevin, Ryan, Maddie, Megan, Tim, Valerie, Sean, Ricky, Victoria, William IV, Fiama, Gabriel, Michael and Matias; and her children, Teri, Nanci and William III.
