She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hartenstein and Henrietta Hartenstein; her husband James; and her daughter Debra Ann. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Decker and Scott Hatton (Spouse-Chanté); her grandchildren, Sarah Harris (Spouse-Michael), Matthew Decker and Brian Decker (Spouse-Chelsea); her great grandchild Elaine; and her sister Elaine Powell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's name to the Scotch Plains Historical Society or Willow Grove Presbyterian Church.
