It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hunter Thompson (Fanwood, New Jersey), born in Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Hunter and Cam Hunter; her sister Irma Twine; her daughter Cathy Thompson Marshall; and her husband William "Bill" Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Denise) and Paige; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Jordan and Arian (Christina); her great grandchild Ari; and her former husband Joe Rempson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
