With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juan Carlos Ortiz Jr. of Fairview, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024 at the age of 30. Though Juan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Juan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his parents, Juan Carlos Ortiz and Angelica Colon; his siblings, Erika Lebron and Jose Andres Polanco; his grandparents, Juan, Maria Sabater and Luz Ortiz; his aunts and uncles, Janet, Oniel and Dervin; his cousin Monique Ortiz; and his girlfriend Rita Z.. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
