It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Anastassatos of Fairview, New Jersey, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Constantine and Haido Constantine; her spouse Gerry Anastassatos; her siblings, Chris Constantine and Helen Benetos; and her nieces and nephews, Kostas Benetos and Vasilios.
She is survived by: her children, Marietta (Paul Leibow) and Bill Anastassatos (Michelle); her grandchildren, Viki, Joseph, Gerry and Joey; her siblings, Mary Nenos, Despina Orphanos and Stavroula Germanis; her nieces, Diane Evans, Dorothy Dolan, Liz Constantine and Helen Athanas; her nephew Peter Nenos; her godsons, Gregory and Dr. Peter Hilaris; and her nephew Alex Anastassatos.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to be made, in Bessie's memory to The Philoptochos Society of Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, Fairview, NJ.
