He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shore and Dorothy Laning Shore; and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his children, Susan DeRoberts, Nancy Di Lella (Paul) and Joseph Shore (Sara); and his grandchildren, Bryan, Kelly Lockward, Lauren, John, Matthew Di Lella, Jordan and Thomas Shore.
