He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley DeShields and Josephine Davis DeShields; his wife Christine Lowe DeShields; his son Isaac DeShields, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles DeShields, Grace Colborn, William DeShields, Wilbert DeShields, Clarissa Warren and Margaret Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Logan of Fairfield Township, Wilbert DeShields of Millville, Deborah DeShields of Millville, Elliott DeShields of Clayton and Belinda Holloway of Millville. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
