She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Mercante of Fairfield; her daughters, Angela Alfano (Robert "Bob") of Fairfield and Gina Affuso (Ralph) of Wood Ridge; her grandchildren, Rob Alfano (Katrina) of Montville, Gabrielle D'Arienzo (Robert) of Towaco and Christopher Affuso of Wood Ridge; and her great grandchild Robert John "RJ" D'Arienzo.
