He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Dickinson, Sr. and Mary E. Woodlin Dickinson; his spouse Ursalee Wright Dickinson; his son James Dickinson; his brother Sherman C. Dickinson; and his grandson George Dickinson.

He is survived by: his children, George Kenneth Dickinson of Fairfield Twp and Diane West of Fairfield Twp; and his close friend Elaine Herring. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
