He is survived by: his father David Channel (Caroline); his wife Stephanie; his daughters, Precious Grier (Ronnie) and Jacole Smith (Stacey); his siblings, Caroline Channel, Kenneth Summersett (Phyllis), Sheila Channell, Sonja Chanakira (Simba) and Nicole McGarthur (Tracy); his sisters-in-law, Doris Jones and Aretha Sampson; his grandchildren, Ry'Hana, David, Ronnie Jr., Zi'Yon, Zi'Aae, Zi'Air and Amir; his nephew Timothy (Betterson); and his friends, Antoine Rivera, Idris King, Tom Cupe, Steven Bailey, Walter Burton, Kevin Burden (Bumper) and Loren Joynes. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
