She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lovett and Viola Lovett; and her sisters, Viola Barner (Charles), Joanne Harris (Scott) and Lorraine Edwards.
She is survived by: her close friend Daniel Gilmore of Millville; her children, John Slater Jr. of Lakeland Florida, Tony Slater of Millville, Angela Phillips of Bridgeton and Keysha Batie of Millville; her brother James Lovett (Lorraine) of Millville; and her close friend Nancy Brown of Seabrook. She is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
