He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gertrude Jill Hartmann; his parents, Doris Hartmann and William Hartmann; his children, Barry Hartmann (Deirdre) of Succasunna, NJ, Kurt Hartmann of Phoenix, AZ, Julie Murphy (Michael) of Wayne, NJ, Stacie Bohr (Jason) of Long Valley, NJ and Carolyn Hartmann of Bayonne, NJ.; and his siblings, David Hartmann of Lompoc, CA and Laurie Hartmann Moser of Charlotte, VT. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
Burial will be arranged privately by Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Frontline Responders Fund, which is currently focusing all its resources on getting critical supplies to frontline responders combating COVID-19.
