She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry and Yeranouhi; her spouse Rev. Arnak Kasparian; her children, Arden and Susan; and her brother George.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Kasparian (Janet), Laurie Preston (Randall), Maro Kasparian, Ardis Waldron (Robert) and Thomas Kasparian; her grandchildren, Maria (Mazinho), Laura (Benjamin), Elena, Samuel, Trevor, Jacob, Micaela, Minas and Matthew; her great grandchild Alden; and her sisters, Margaret Stepanian and Sara "Zarook" Cooper.
In 2010, Violet was the recipient of the Guild's first Women of Wonder (WOW) Award for her lifetime of untiring service and contribution to the Women's Guild and the Armenian Church community, including 18 years of devoted work with the School Bag Project.
