He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophia Dyrsten (Damek) and Howard Dyrsten. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dyrsten (Mason); his children, Thomas Dyrsten, Jr. (Louise), Jennifer Nafie (David), Julie Hery (Lou) and Gregory Dyrsten; his grandchildren, Caroline, Lily, Tommy, Charlie Dyrsten, Samantha, Todd, Jillian Nafie, Louie and Will Hery; and his siblings, Gerald Dyrsten (Roberta) and Stephanie Kammerer (Richard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In appreciation for the exceptional care Tom received at The Valley Hospital the family asks in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to the Valley Hospital Foundation, 223 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
