It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Brateman of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Cele Brateman (Bell); his daughters, Robin Brateman-Kaplan and Lisa Brateman; his grandchildren, Laura, Brett, Abbey, Carly and Jordan; and his great grandchild Elsie.

Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Emanuel in Franklin Lakes or Temple Beth Sholom in Fair Lawn.
