He is survived by: his friend Bill W; his significant other Mary Ellen Dolan; his stepchildren, Leah Aknay and Todd Aknay; his stepgrandson Hudson; his siblings, Donna Murphy (Kevin) and Michael Kwiecien (JoAnn); and his nieces and nephews, Meghan Murphy, Brian Murphy (Emily), Joseph Kwiecien and Nicole Kakuta (Hiroaki).
