With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Sarka of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband George Sarka. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Burnette (late James W.) and Dr. George Sarka (Virginia Ho); her granddaughters, Denise Burnette (Michael Schwarz), Donna Burnette (Mario Simoes) and Deborah G. Burnette; her great grandchildren, Samuel, Lia Grace and Marielle; and her pet Ozzie. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Anne's RC Church (15-05 St Anne St, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
