The passing of Lisanne M. Knoepffler of Ridgewood, New Jersey, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 25, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Murphy and Elizabeth "Elise" Murphy; and her brother Edward "Ned" Murphy. She is survived by: her husband James Knoepffler; her children, Alyssa Knoepffler Barroso (Kenny) and Michael Knoepffler (Nicky); her grandsons, Julian and Jackson Barroso; and her siblings, Michelle Baker, Mathew Murphy (Moira), Andrew Murphy, Philip Murphy (Susan Allen) and Annette Murphy (Edward Larsen).

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Grace Church (340 Meadowbrook Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450).
