He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Azra Mansoor; his sons, Farukh A. Chaudhry and Mubarick A. Chaudhry; the father of his child Rukhsana Chaudhry Jewayni; and his grandsons, Sufiyan and Averroes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Imtiaz's memory to International Red Cross.
