He is survived by: his spouse Mihaela Zizi Sobaru; his children, Aileen Finnegan and Lucien Sobaru; his grandchildren, Liam, Logan and Paige; his sibling Vica Barboi; and his children-in-law, Brian Finnegan, Alyssa Lurie (Mark), Jourdan (Grayson), Kelly (Henry), Vivi (Oliver Braunstein) and Elena (Lucian Barboi).
