It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francine G. Sorock (Fair Lawn, New Jersey), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on March 4, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward James Sorock. She is survived by: her sons, Peter R. Sorock and Gary S. Sorock; her sister-in-law Phyllis Kusnitz; her daughters-in-law, Eleanor Shimkin-Sorock and Nasrin Sisk; her grandchildren, Charlotte Sheridan (Patrick), Rayden Sorock (O. E. Zelmanovich) and Abraham Sorock; her great grandchildren, Calder Sorock and James Sheridan; and her close friend Gloria Sanchez.

“Peter and Gary, I am so saddened by the death of your Mom. We still spoke frequently and she loved talking about her friendship with my MotherJeanne Wilt. We all grew up together in Fair Lawn and I always considered Fran my second Mom. I will miss our great conversations and all she shared about her great adventures with my Mother. She will always have a special place in my heart.. she taught me so much about life and for that I will be forever grateful. Love to you both.”
