He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bombardier and Gertrude Bombardier; his son Dennis Michael Bombardier, Jr. of Towson, Maryland; and his siblings, Douglas, Donald Bombardier and Gladys Querrazzi.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Bombardier (Daley); his son John Bombardier; his son-in-law Richard Boyd of Old Bridge, NJ; his son Nicholas Bombardier; his daughter-in-law Jensen of Springfield, NJ; his sisters, Nancy and Rose; and his granddaughters, Audrey and Arya. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
