He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Ferris and Catherine Ferris (Lavin); his wife Margaret Haggerty; and his siblings, Thomas, Catherine, Peggy and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his child NJ; his former wife Mary McGarry; his children, John (Maureen), Peggy Bolger (Philip) and Eileen Grabowski (Donald); his grandchildren, Sara Ferris (Patrick), Jonathan Ferris, Lauren Boniewicz (Joseph) and Daniel Bolger (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Ella, Declan, Charlotte, Riley and Elise; and his stepchildren, Jackie, Kevin and Katherine Freitag.
