It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecilia G. Altamirano of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, who passed away on September 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friends, Prior, Flavor Scientist and Givaudan-Roure; her husband Benito Altamirano; her children, Yvette Payumo (Vernon), Leilani Mathis (Kenneth), Jennifer Hergert (Earl III) and Celine Joas (Ronald); her grandchildren, Allison Schulze (Duncan), Kristin Ferris (Lauren), Renee Payumo, Benito Hergert, Sophia Joas and Wolfgang Joas; her great grandchildren, Natalie Schulze and Lydia Cecily Schulze; her parents, Teodula Garing and Hilario Garing; and her siblings, Tita Lajara (Ruben), Juanito Garing, Lita Garing, Gerardo Garing (Edna), Mario Garing (Helen) and Angelina Chan (Dean).
Interment will be private. Due to the current pandemic, the families desire to practice social distancing to keep everyone safe.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cecilia may be made to St. Catharine RC Church.
