He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brett and Day Brett; his stepfather Bishop George Higgins; his son Arthur Brett, Jr.; and his siblings, Muriel Brett, Camille Brett, Vernon Brett, Leslie Brett, Lloyd Brett, Clinton Brett and Rudolph Brett.
He is survived by: his uncle Walden Cole; his aunt Ida; his cousins, Veronica, Valerie, Anthony, Myrna and Keith; his daughter-in-law Elisia; his grandchildren, Arthur III (Trey), Uzziah III, Aliyah and Alaina; his wife Wilma Brett (McKoy); his daughters, Grace-Ann Brett and Alicia Brett-Cooper; his siblings, Zenneth Brett, Garnett Brett and Clyde Brett; his siblings-in-law, Winston McKoy (Donna), Walter McKoy (Angela), William McKoy (Brenda), Wilfred McKoy (Vilma), Wesley McKoy (Ruth), Gladys Brett and Noy Brett; his children-in-law, Elisa Brett and Uzziah Cooper Jr.; and his grandchildren, Arthur Brett III, Mount Vernon, Apostolic Worldwide and Pentecostal. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
