He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Leonard and Margaret L. Leonard; and his siblings, Geraldine Slocum, Doris Brown, Thomas Leonard, James Leonard and Robert Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, William E. Leonard Jr. (Rachel "Lia") of Belford, Joseph Leonard (Donna), Timothy Leonard (Christine) of Rumson and Jennifer Carduck (Will) of Chesterfield, VA.; his grandchildren, Rebecca Leonard, William E. Leonard III, Antonio Maligieri, Stephanie Cella (Chris), Jaclyn, Thomas (Jenny), Jesse, Bryce, Tyler Leonard, Timothy, Hunter Leonard, Christopher, Julianna and Jake Carduck; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, Kaeleigh, Amelia and Sadie; his siblings, Evelyn Warren, Marge Froidl and Richard Leonard (Maggi); his siblings-in-law, Hazel Wilkins and Glenn Osborn (Mary Ann); his niece Nancy; and his nephew George Balina.
