He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Herndon (JaJa); his daughter Jessica Herndon; his grandsons, Robbie Rizzolo and Timothy Herndon Burke; his parents, Lola Applebee Herndon Hahn and Wesley Herndon; his stepfather Ken Hahn; and his siblings, Doris Dean and Lee Herndon.
He is survived by: his close friend April Purpora; his daughters, Valerie and Stefani Herndon; his son-in-law Tim Burke; his grandsons, Michael Rizzolo and Desmond Herndon Burke; and his brothers, Lee Hahn (Millie) and Dennis Hahn.
