He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Marek and Elisabeth Marek. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Marxen (Drews); his children, Ulf, Carrie Marxen of Rumson, Birgit and Marc Criqui of Essex Fells; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jack Marxen, Ryan and Lindsay; and his daughter Greta Criqui.
